For #suziperry

Tip for @suziperry, about the incredible luck of #paddylowe.

Because of my ongoing excercises in "lateral thinking" and the upcoming Silverstone week I wondered how Mercedes became unbeatable all of a sudden.
Well, there was no sudden.
The Mercedes is the product of the more than fruitfull collaboration of Michael Schumacher and Ross Brawn.
Their work goes back to the days Eddy Jordan discovered Schumacher and somehow the - master tinkerer - and - future unheard off 7 times world champion - as I remember it, 1993 ish, got together.
Brawn, one of the great minds of our time, teaming with the greatest racing driver ever, made the Benz to wat it is today, unbeatable by far.
As in F1 "better" is calculated in 0,001 of a second and the Benz is a whole second faster.
Paddy Lowe is a hard worker and that is probably the reason he was chosen to come from Mc-Laren and become the Mercedes technical director, but nowhere the out of this world genius like Ross Brawn.

Brawn who quit F1 autumn 2013 left Mercedes and left them with the greatest car he ever made for Michael Schumacher, now for Rossberg and Hamilton.
Can you imagine what Michael would have done with it? Or Alonso? Yeah, Alonso is a whole story apart.
That would have hurt the sport almost as much as the sound of the 12-10-8 cylinder non hybrid cars gone.
Anyway, I name Paddy Lowe the luckiest guy not only in Formula one, but globally of the decade.
Nice daughter 19, new wife Ann and he is the boss off the greatest race car ever!
Beat that!
He just has to make shure no-one makes the car bad with backward engineering and keep the wife and daughter happy, he'll be fine. (All 3 impossible)
Suzy, a fine reporter and sports fan like you can do better with this than me and my blog.
It's a gift, have fun with it.

p.s. (Possibilities, interviews with, Paddy Lowe, Ross and Eddy.)
(Crux, how much did Ross wanted to sign for from 2014 onwards? Could have been astronomical as every 0,001 of a second faster costs 10 million, so a whole second?). I did not mention Michael's ordeal extra as I hope the best he would have wanted for himself will happen.
