learning GUERRILLA TWITTER

Whait. @marcthebeste is our sample as a learning model

Bla bla bla bla bla bla This is, the good stuff is further down at The good stuff

- * too much work for joy? * - only today € 99 off from € 178,- now € 79,- Guerrilla Twitter at your service

So, I had a Twitter but I did'nt know how it worked, so I started reading about How twitter works.
That did'nt help a whole lot. But enough to realize I had to start over completely. Why?
Well I found out twitter people did everything with it, save roasting chicken. (Maybe even that).

) It's a month now and still learning, as I go along. When you look at @marcthebeste you see that there are bursts of my tweets, like 4,5 and 6th of june, thats the learning moments, as I was trying out stuff.
There are tons of stuff, the @'s the #, the lists, famous people, international events, trending topics, Tools, like GL = "Go List" and ? for the shortcuts.

#  [ Hashtag is used to mention something or find a mentioned item.]
@  [ At is used to direct a tweet.]
?   [ Question mark. List of keyboard shortcuts, like go to “list” goes type the          combination of G+L]
.   [ Dot. In the home. Show the new tweets or refresh]

photo's, video, links, joining groups, very good twitterers an very bad, making bookmarks, try to follow only the good twitterers.
We'll go over all of the above, everything in good time, don't forget most people don't know @ for # and everybody did'nt know in the beginning.

Finding more good twitterers, meanwhile growing your base of followers, that are the people who follow you back no matter what.
Either you need a lot of followers, always good, or humongous # power, we'll see both ways a bit later.
And managing all that, witch is the hardest, but most rewarding.

Here we go, with the good stuff.

Start with a fresh account, think Superman or AlphaOrk, there are two names for you to show up, your own name and the Superman / woman.
From here on, don't be afraid to make mistakes, most can be altered or removed.
If you are famous get your account verified by Twitter as soon as possible, read about it by searching and you can skip this here onworth, till the "lists" section.
If you are not famous, it will take a quazillion years to get a little base off followers to pick from to decide that there are twitterers amongst them worthy of following.

Actually you don't want to follow most of them, but if you yourself have no followers nobody will bother to follow you.
Two handy tips, do not ask people to follow you, it is known that it doesn't work and try not to have people who follow you and don't use it, like their last tweet was 6 months ago, except for what is in the next couple of paragraphs.
I know, it is a lot of follow me, follow you, but see the followers as points you got for your work.

Now don't be embaressed here or turn away, listen!
To get you started, buy say 500 followers, look for yourself where, but I got my 500 to start with from Seoclercks (for a $, yes! One).
I wrote this because I know I will forget some of the very handy things I picked up at the start and to read back later. Also to remove clutter, stuff was not interesting at all sometimes, but when @stephenfry tweeted about a box of porcrectums I had a hard time that morning to get started. You can look it up by searching at #MwJRosheuvel. .
In blue is a link. Good to know.

Also, change the apearance of your Twitter from time to time, not everything at the same day twice, witch you can, but say, till you are satisfied.
There are two photo's that stay there as long as you want, you can play with both of them in the "edit profile" section.
Also in the same section you can change the text of who you are or what you do, I had and have a lot of fun with that as you can see, there was another wasted morning (day).
Don't bother with the rest of the look, as you get in to lists the apearance will change with what the list you are on looks like.

There are weblists like this one http://www.mikebrenner.com/300/ where by clicking on it you get followers, some changed strategy as they went along and became semi-famous or some are dead, their twitter still there forever.
You'll see as you go along.
I "unfollow" also when I see very old last tweets, when they have too many followers but nothing to say and I find them not famous myself or annoying.
That happens a lot.

Look here, the thing is that @KatyPerry with 54.1M that is 54 million followers is NOT going to follow you back.
But if you like her or her tweets, YOU can follow HER, and her tweets will show in your "home" tweets.
So here is already the thirth strategy to get interesting followers this time, not much work but be patient.
I did not invent this myself.

It is the retweet.
It seems not much, but the retweet is a very powerfull tool, it is the bait for more followers.
Pick someone you want to follow you. Go to the ones he / she follows, pick one and go to the full profile, select a tweet, keep in mind all the above, recent tweets and so on. Do the retweet and click the Follow button. Do not go back here again.
What just happened?
The one you wanted to follow you, will see someone she / he follows get the retweet.
A little envie is seeded right there and if educated will imediatly look who retweeted that and then will follow you.
Mission accompished.

I hear people thinking, especially the ones with thousands of followers, where is the section of the "" Lists". Well, not yet. And, this is not the sole place to look stuff up, but an overall off what you can encounter starting seriously. Go out, I do too.

The difference between home and me.
From home you tweet and see emediatly how it looks, not like? Do it again and delete the first one.
Everyting not especially about you is at the home screen, me is all about you.
Twitter intelligence, somehow it knows if your tweet goes at me under, just “tweets” or “tweets and replies”

So many people demand the foreboded elusive LIST section treathening not to pay antmore, I had to succumb.
So I will start with it, monday.
Because it needs a lot of prep and hoping I can do that plus understand the shit myself.
Why?
Lists are a whole new universe of Twitter, I'll give a little foresight for it here.
The LISTS completely make the home place superfluous, you'll work Twitter with looking in nothing but the Lists, yours and mostly others.
To get you a little start look at the list sections of susieperry jeremyclarckson and stephenfry, the latter tiny just his favorite tweeters and another about cricket, these are actually maybe not his real list, that are the lists he is a member off or just subscribed too. Maybe the lists he uses for real he set to private and you will never know.
That sort of List you have to make entree by entree and is a lot of work, so not so strange people want that to keep private.
Because stephenfry 's public list consists mainly of a toniblackburn from the looks of it a not very interesting elderly bbc (he's not black) discjockey, who never shows up on fry's tweets.
